The Main Street Cookie Company is a no-compromise, finest-quality-ingredient scratch bakery. Our slogan is "We Bake With BUTTER", and that means sweet cream butter is the only shortening used in our cookies. We do not use any vegetable shortenings, no oil, and no hydrogenated product of any kind. There are no artificial ingredients, flavors, colors, dyes, preservatives, stiffeners, etc. in our cookies. Main Street Cookies are a 100% Real Food Ingredients product, where we batch from scratch and bake in-house every retail business day.

Main Street Cookie Company is owned and operated by Joycelyn and Carl Zambuto. The Zambutos decided in 2005 they would harness Joycelyn's talents in recipe creation and build a business around it. They went to work on a comprehensive business plan, leased a small space at street level in the building which used to be the Rainier Hotel on the main street in town, and opened in January of 2008. In the short time since its inception, Main Street Cookie Company has been developing a reputation that is spreading regionally as the finest cookies one can buy. The Main Street Cookie Company has become a destination trip for many, as some folks will drive an hour to buy our cookies.

Our retail bakery in Rainier is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. When you walk in the front door you will be greeted by the smells of fresh baking going on, and the cookie case you see in the photo (left) with everything you see on our cookie page. Main Street Cookies are also available in 19 outside locations throughout South Puget Sound, in coffee houses, gift shops, and gourmet markets (see our locations page.) Our wholesale location list is continually growing, and we will add each location to the page as they come on line.

We also accept special orders for events. Please call the bakery for more information at 360-446-0232. Note: our products are available only at our bakery and our wholesale locations at this time. We do not ship, as we presently don't have the facility space for a shipping operation.
